What I do with your information

Short version: I only collect what I need to answer you, I do not track you around the internet, and I will delete your details the moment you ask.
Who is asking
This site is run by AP, a salesperson registered with OMVIC (#5880331) and a Sales Consultant at Performance Hyundai Brampton. No vehicles are sold through this website. If you go on to buy a vehicle, Performance Hyundai Brampton makes the sale, and the dealership's own privacy practices apply from that point.

What I collect, and only when you send it
Nothing on this site is collected in the background. Information reaches me only when you choose to fill in one of the two forms and press send.

Please do not send your SIN, driver's licence number, banking details or credit information through these forms. Nothing here needs them.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to my email inbox by FormSubmit, a third-party form-relay service. Your message passes through their systems on the way to me, so their privacy terms apply to that step. The email itself lands in a Microsoft Outlook mailbox.
I use what you send only to answer you and to help you find a vehicle. To do that I may share your details with Performance Hyundai Brampton, the dealership I work for, for example to check a car, book a test drive or prepare paperwork. I do not sell, rent or trade your information, and I do not add you to a marketing list without you asking.
Other companies involved in showing you this page
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers keep standard access logs that include your IP address.
- Vehicle photos load from the dealership's photo service (prod.pictures.autoscout24.net, part of AutoTrader). Like any image host, it sees your IP address when a photo loads.
- Links to Instagram, the dealership's website and CARFAX reports only load if you click them, at which point you are on their site under their rules.
Typefaces and the rest of the page are served from this site itself.
How long I keep things
Enquiries stay in my email while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask and I will remove it.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can:
- ask what information about you I hold;
- ask me to correct anything that is wrong;
- withdraw your consent and ask me to delete your details;
- complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you think I have handled your information badly.
Call or email me and I will deal with it. You will not be charged.
Children
This site is meant for people old enough to buy a vehicle and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
